IA: Hall convicted for prison murder

[messengernews.net – 5/21/21]

It took a Webster County jury a little over two hours to decide that vigilante justice has no place in the American criminal justice system.

The jury convicted Eric Todd Hall, 45, of first-degree murder for the death of his fellow Fort Dodge Correctional Facility inmate Thomas Daleske on Thursday afternoon.

Hall was accused of killing Daleske, 59, in the victim’s cell at the FDCF on June 14, 2020. Daleske was found unresponsive in his cell in the Grove Unit of the prison around 5:15 p.m. on that date.

Hall was identified shortly after the incident and was charged with first-degree murder. He had been serving a sentence for third-degree burglary since April 2019.

The verdict came just hours after the jury heard from Hall, who took the witness stand to testify on his own behalf as the defense’s only witness.

Every person forced to register has to be very careful because people like this life time criminal have access to your personal information and they could snap at anytime.

Good luck 😈

WTF!!?? 😡 “The defense had asserted that Hall targeted Daleske because Daleske was a convicted sexual offender… “. So apparently that’s a reasonable defense??
The news article’s photo appears to show defense attorney Kelby Wingert saying “The deceased was a convicted sex offender, so what’s the big deal??” 😡😡
It is outrageously shocking that the judge even allowed the defense attorney to present that information to the jury in a manner clearly intended to lessen the severity of the murder his client had committed. 😡

I heard somebody get murdered while I was incarcerated. Beat to death. I heard him begging and crying. I’m less terrified now that I’m out, but I’m still afraid.

State sponsored hate/vengeance

State sponsored murder

Murderer’s attorney is fine with both and acts like no biggie

Jury convicted the murderer of 1st degree murder

If that attorney was the last booger I wouldn’t pick him for representation; except to be disbarred.
